Summer Riffs: Re-Animator and Soultangler

Join us for Summer Riffs, where every Sunday in August we will be screening a fun flick that you can riff on, laugh out loud at, love, and hate. Audience participation is encouraged in this series.

We’re teaming up with our friends Schlockbuster Presents to bring you two gory b-horror flicks.

Re-Animator (1985) from director Stuart Gordon is based on an H.P. Lovecraft story. After an odd new medical student arrives on campus, a dedicated local and his girlfriend become involved in bizarre experiments centering around the re-animation of dead tissue.

Soultangler (2025) is a brand new production from Bleeding Skull. A mad scientist name Anton Lupesky invents a drug that can free the soul of the user and allow them to posses the bodies of corpses. The horrible side effect is sometimes fatal hallucinations that leave the survivors incurably mad.
